Colour Blind Pictures is a culmination of over ten years of experience from both the world of film and music. Founded by Emile Touri; Colour Blind Pictures has been a long time concept that has finally come to life. CB Pictures is run by Emile Touri and many trusted advisors; one of whom is Sonia Touri. Sonia is not only a gifted musician but a lyricist and a composer. Initially, CB Pictures was created with intentions of making short films to purely entertain but like all great things, CB Pictures has taken on a life of it's own. Today, the mission of CB Pictures is in it's very name. We are striving to not only make provocative films but to provoke thought with intentions of battling social issues such as racism, sexism, homophobia, and so on. We hope that in the coming years and beyond, you find what we produce to be informative, entertaining, and memorable. Regardless of whether you may agree or disagree with our points of view, we appreciate your attention.
Emile Touri was born in Los Angeles, California on March 28, 1979. Originally from South Pasadena, Emile moved to Morocco when he was four. He performed in a few plays, one being the Wizard of OZ, but did not fall in love with performing until 2002. He grew up watching Cary Grant, Spencer Tracy, and many other classic greats. But, it was in 2002 when he met his first acting teacher Steve Eastin. Steve Eastin, with his passion for truthful performances, helped Emile to sharpen his craft and fall in love with performing. Then in the beginning of 2008, Emile met Billy Cowart of WCI Studios where he continues to study to this day. Billy Cowart has been vital to Emile growing both as an actor, a writer, and director.
